Entry Requirements
Our core entry requirements are six or more GCSEs at grade 5+ including maths, English literature and English language.
You will also need to achieve at least a grade 5 in the subjects you wish to study at A-Level. If you are new to a subject we will consider achievement in the GCSE that most closely corresponds.
We expect our students to study at least three A-Levels and will support you to achieve the highest grades.

| Further Maths | GCSE 8+ mathematics Must also choose to study A-Level maths |

| Geography | Grade 5+ in geography |

| Graphics | Grade 5+ in an art and design subject, including fine art, graphics, textiles, photography, 3D design or Distinction in creative i-media |
| History | Grade 5+ in history |
| Law | GCSE 5+ in a humanity (history, geography, religious studies, philosophy, psychology, sociology) |
| Maths | Grade 6+ in maths |
| Music | Grade 5+ on musical instrument and Grade 5 theory. Grade 5+ in GCSE music if taken |

| Philosophy | GCSE 5+ in a humanity (history, geography, religious studies, philosophy, psychology, sociology) |
| Physics | Higher tier GCSE physics level 5 or higher tier combined (trilogy) science grades 5,5. GCSE 6+ mathematics Must also choose to study A-level maths Any students keen to study physics without maths should contact our Sir Isaac Director of Science, Mr Watling, in the first instance. |
