Jane Austen College Sixth Form Celebrates Another Year of Outstanding A-Levels

Jane Austen College Sixth Form is celebrating a superb set of A-Level results today. The sixth form, is delighted to share that 83% of grades achieved were A*-C, with 62% of grades awarded at A*-B and over 30% at A*-A.  

Following these exceptional results, Jane Austen College Sixth Form is delighted to see 85% of its students gain a place on their chosen courses and at their first-choice university. Students have also been accepted on competitive degree-level apprenticeships and professional training courses, alongside those attending Universities which included Cambridge, Warwick, LSE, UCL, Leeds, Manchester, York, Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham, Exeter and Edinburgh 

Principal of Jane Austen College, Glen Allott said:

Their dedication, resilience, and ambition have truly paid off, and these achievements are a testament to their hard work and the unwavering support of our exceptional Sixth Form staff. As they move on to the next stage of their journeys—whether in higher education, apprenticeships, or employment—we are confident they will continue to thrive and make a positive impact. Their futures are undoubtedly bright." 

Evie achieved A*, A*, A and will be reading Law at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. 

Celeste achieved A*, A*, A and will be going on to study Psychology at York University. 

Zoe achieved A*, A, B and will be having a gap year including a Christian Leadership placement in Hawaii and will return to attend York University and study Psychology.  

Maisie achieved A*, A, A and will be going to Warwick to study Sociology and Politics. 

Alf achieved A*, A B and will be going to Glasgow University to study Finance with the intention to progress on to a career in Ethical Investment. 

George achieved A, A, A and following travels to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos next year intends to study at Nottingham University.  

Jane Austen College works in partnership with Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form to provide its students with the highest-quality A-Level courses in STEM subjects. Students at both colleges benefit from the best teaching and academic support, with opportunities to get involved in a vast array of electives to build life-long skills.
